At MNTL, we believe that play is the foundation of all learning. With over six years of expertise in the world of toy design, our journey began with a simple vision: to create toys that inspire, educate, and bring joy to children around the globe. Today, MNTL has grown into a leading brand in children’s magnetic tiles, loved in over 20 countries, including Australia, Japan, Canada, the United States, and now Sri Lanka.
A Word from the Founder
As a mother of four young boys and someone deeply passionate about child development, I believe in the power of purposeful, screen-free play. My background in Psychology has shown me how much children thrive when given the right tools to learn and grow, away from screens and endless distractions. Watching my own sons dive into the colorful world of MNTL, creating towers, bridges, and stories, inspires me every day.
As the founder and official agent of MNTL in Sri Lanka, I am committed to bringing this vision to life in every Sri Lankan home. In my own childhood, playtime meant creativity, not screens—I want the same for today’s children: hands-on experiences that are meaningful, enriching, and truly engaging. MNTL tiles are designed to keep children absorbed in real-world play, where they can imagine, create, and build their own worlds while learning and having fun. With MNTL, the possibilities are endless, and the learning is seamless.
MNTL is more than just a brand to me; it’s a vision to empower children through play, providing them with the chance to become innovative thinkers and resilient problem-solvers. My goal is to make MNTL a part of every child’s journey, supporting them in developing essential skills, confidence, and creativity. I am proud to lead MNTL Sri Lanka and share this journey with families and educators who recognize the importance of play as a foundation for lifelong learning and growth.
